Sage Journey — Entry III Need• Withdraw• Return

Illumination Series — A Living Orientation
This Illumination Series is a living body of contemplations written from inside my ongoing Sage Journey.
Each entry is not a lesson or a teaching, but a transmission — a record of what is revealing itself as I walk the Golden Path through the Gene Keys, embody the Beauty Code Way, and allow illumination to arise through lived experience rather than effort.
You don’t need to read these in order.
You don’t need prior knowledge.
Nothing here is meant to be consumed quickly. These writings are meant to be felt.
If something lands — a phrase, a sensation, a pause — that is the work doing what it does best. You are invited to move slowly, return often, and let orientation happen in your own timing.
This is illumination as presence.
This is the Beauty Way.
Opening Threshold
This phase of the Sage Journey has been marked by heat.
Not chaos — but purification.
Working with Sekhmet, I am inside a fierce, clarifying intelligence that does not negotiate with avoidance. Sekhmet does not ask politely. She reveals what is no longer sustainable and waits for honesty.

At the same time, my Evolution (Gene Key 24) has been alive in a new way — not as contemplation alone, but as lived interruption. Old loops. Old soothing strategies. Old ways of bypassing sensation are being called forward to be seen.
This is not dramatic.
It is precise.
The body knows when it is time to detox — physically, emotionally, neurologically.
And right now, the work is about need.

The Living Experience
I feel a strong pull toward isolation.
Not withdrawal as avoidance — but isolation as intimacy with myself.
There is a need to quiet external stimulation so I can listen to what has been speaking underneath my habits. I am noticing where I reach for relief instead of regulation. Where I soothe instead of stay present.
This is the shadow of addiction — not just to substances or behaviors, but to escape.
Escape from sensation.
Escape from stillness.
Escape from need itself.
As I work with the Birthright to Need, I am returning to a developmental window where asking was not weakness and response was not conditional.
Need did not require justification.
It did not require earning.
It was met — or not — and the body learned from that experience.
I am re-parenting this layer now, not through force, but through presence.

The Revelation
What has surprised me most is that this desire for isolation is not opposed to community.
It is clarifying my relationship to it.
I notice, moment by moment, whether I am resisting connection because it threatens my coping strategies — or whether I am genuinely needing quiet to integrate what is moving.
Community calls remain important.
So does solitude.
The discernment lives in honesty, not in rules.
Sekhmet’s medicine here is sharp and clean:
Do not abandon yourself to belong.
Do not isolate to avoid being seen.
Both are forms of disconnection.

Integration Through the Beauty Code Way
This phase is teaching me how Rewire B4™ works in real time:
-
Brain: interrupting unconscious loops and compulsive narratives
-
Body: staying with sensation instead of numbing it
-
Beliefs: questioning the idea that need is a problem
-
Beauty: restoring dignity to dependency and desire
Through VACA, this looks like:
-
Vision — recognizing what is actually happening
-
Awareness — noticing urges without acting on them
-
Connection — choosing presence with myself and others
-
Action — responding consciously, not compulsively
This is human technology at work — not abstract, but cellular.
Detox is not just removal.
It is re-education.

A Present-Moment Practice
The question I am living with right now is simple and demanding:
What am I resisting in this moment — and why?
Sometimes the answer is rest.
Sometimes it is truth.
Sometimes it is reaching out instead of retreating.
The practice is not choosing correctly.
It is choosing consciously.

Word of the Year — Still Forming
If your Word of the Year has not arrived yet, this phase may be part of why.
Words emerge when the nervous system can tolerate what is real.
Some people mark the New Year in January.
Some with the Lunar New Year.
Some in March, when the body senses forward motion again.
There is no rush.
Your word will not arrive to save you.
It will arrive when you are ready to meet yourself honestly.
If this resonates, you may appreciate a gentle practice I offer called the Word of the Year Activation — a way to orient yourself without pressure.

Closing
This work is not about purity.
It is about presence.
It is about learning when to be alone — and when to allow yourself to be witnessed.
Sekhmet does not destroy what is true.
She clears what is no longer needed.
If this Entry meets you in a tender place, you are not behind.
You are in the work.

where nothing is rushed, and nothing is wasted
A Companion Activation
As I’ve been working with Sekhmet, detox, and the Birthright to Need, one thing has become unmistakable:
Forgiveness is not an idea.
It is a place. It is a state the nervous system enters when safety returns.
It is a reorientation toward truth that does not require self-punishment.I created the Illumination Activation: “Forgiveness Is a Place You Go” for those walking this series with me — especially for the moments when shadow work feels tender, when isolation feels tempting, and when the past tries to define the present.
This activation is not about absolving behavior.
It is about restoring coherence. If you are part of this Illumination Series, you can access it while it is available as a complimentary offering.
Receive it when you’re ready.
Return to it when you need to remember where forgiveness actually lives.CLICK HERE TO WATCH FULL 44-MIN TRASMISSION
